David M. Lynch, vice president of worldwide marketing at Apani Networks, to look at the 6 major factors that influence compliance and the impact to marketers

Montreal, Quebec - September 6, 2006- Ryma Technology Solutions Inc., the leading provider of product management solutions for the software industry, and co-sponsor of the community blog The Product Management View, today announced the next industry-leading presentation in their weekly Webinar Series. David M. Lynch, vice president of worldwide marketing at Apani Networks (www.apani.com) will be speaking on the topic “The Fine Art of Persuasion.”

The webinar will take place on Wednesday September 13 at 12:00 noon EST. The presentation will look at the six major factors that influence compliance with a request and the impact of this research to marketers. (i.e. getting prospects to respond to an offer, come to a seminar, take a look at your web site, or even buy your product). It will provide a deeper understanding of why some accepted marketing practices work, and identify areas where minor adjustments could potentially improve your sales or campaign and results – whether they are external or internal. “As David said, marketing is all about getting people’s attention and then influencing their behavior. To do this, marketers must understand how people process and make decisions, and how they act and react based on their social influences,” said Russell Foy, VP of Sales and Marketing at Ryma Technology Solutions, co-sponsor of the Product Management View blog and webinar series. “We are extremely excited to have David lead one of our webinars and help educate the product management community on this very important topic.”

Lynch has spent the past 11 years in the data security industry, working and writing about technologies ranging from authentication and access control to security middleware, PKI, VPNs and compliance.
